Maiju Data

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 September 2026. Operated by HONG KONG FUNGMING TRADING LIMITED ("we", "us"), for the Maiju Data service ("the Service").

1. Who this policy is for

This policy applies to sellers who connect a seller account to the Service, and to visitors to this website. The Service is sold to businesses; it is not directed at consumers and is not intended for use by children.

2. What data we collect

We collect two kinds of data.

Account data you give us directly: your company name, the name and email address of each user you create, and billing contact details. We do not collect payment card numbers; payments are handled by a third-party payment provider.

Business data retrieved with your authorisation from the seller and advertising accounts you connect:

Advertising dataCampaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, placements, impressions, clicks, spend, attributed sales
Technical dataAuthorisation tokens, sync job logs, error logs, the IP address and browser used to sign in

3. Personally identifiable information

We do not collect, request, process or store buyer personally identifiable information (PII). We do not request the restricted data roles that would give access to it, and we do not retrieve buyer names, shipping addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or tax identifiers. Where a data feed we use could contain such fields, they are discarded at the point of ingestion and are never written to our database, logs or backups. All analysis in the Service is performed on aggregated business metrics.

4. How we use the data

  • To produce sales, profit, advertising and inventory reports for the seller who authorised the data.
  • To generate alerts and suggestions, such as restock warnings and negative-keyword candidates, which a person reviews before acting on them.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot and support the Service.
  • To bill for the plan in use.

We do not use your business data to train machine learning models for other customers, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Data isolation and sharing

Each seller's data is stored in a separate logical dataset and is accessible only to users that seller has authorised. We do not share, resell or disclose your business data to any third party, except: (a) to infrastructure providers acting as our processors under contract and solely to host and operate the Service; and (b) where we are required to do so by law, in which case we will notify you unless legally prohibited.

6. How we protect the data

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • All data at rest, including database storage and backups, is encrypted using AES-256.
  • Authorisation tokens and client secrets are held in encrypted server-side configuration, are never exposed to a browser, and are never written to application logs.
  • Access to production systems is restricted to named personnel, requires multi-factor authentication, and is logged.
  • Within the Service, access is controlled by role and by page permission, and member actions are recorded in an audit log.

7. How long we keep the data

8. Revoking access and deleting your data

You may revoke the Service's authorisation at any time from your own seller or advertising account settings, without contacting us. Revocation takes effect immediately and we stop retrieving new data at that point.

You may also request deletion at any time by writing to support@maiju.work from the email address on the account. Following revocation of authorisation, account closure, or a deletion request, we permanently delete the associated data — including backups — within 7 days. We will confirm in writing once deletion is complete.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of the data we hold about you, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Write to support@maiju.work; we respond within 30 days.

10. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The signed-in application uses a single session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in; it is removed when you sign out.

11. International transfers

The Service is operated from servers located in Japan. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on the contractual safeguards in place with our infrastructure providers.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account owners by email before the change takes effect.
